A single 10-inch subwoofer driver is slot-loaded into the corner of the hatch to maximize bass impact while also shielding the subwoofer driver from loose cargo. The enclosure does not impede access to the spare tire in the Cooper or the battery in the “Cooper S” model and leaves plenty of space for amplifier installation.
