The compact PWE-S8 amplified subwoofer system lets you add deep, accurate bass to your sound system without taking up much space in your vehicle.

With the PWE-S8, the high-excursion 8-inch subwoofer and 120W gives strong bass output.

With a shallow mount, the PWE-S8 is just 3-inches deep (at deepest point), 13.5 inches wide and 9 inches tall- completely application ready. This compact subwoofer system works well under or behind the seat or a pickup truck, in a sedan truck, or in the hatch of an SUV.

The small, but powerful PWE-S8-WRA consists of an 8-inch powered subwoofer with a built-in 120 watts amp, a bracket designed to bolt the subwoofer under the Wrangler driver’s seat, a remote bass knob and Wrangler-specific wiring harnesses for plug-and-play connection to your aftermarket or factory in-dash system. The powered subwoofer measures just 13.5” L x 9” W x 3” D, so you can add low, punchy, accurate bass to your Jeep without taking up usable storage space.

Subwoofer controls like Phase, Gain, LP Crossover and Remote Sub Level are found on the side panel, or mount the remote bass knob on your dash and use it to easily make bass level adjustments.

The PWE-S8-WRA is not just small and strong, but also durable. This Subwoofer has been called the "best damn 8-inch subwoofer ever made" for its remarkable performance capabilities and design attributes. An impressive linear excursion envelope that exceeds 0.75 in. (19 mm) one-way allows it to deliver impact well beyond the range of other 8-inch Subwoofers.

The 8W7AE is best used with amplifier power in the 200W - 500W range and is optimized to operate in a 0.875 cu. ft. (24.8 l) sealed enclosure, or a 1.0 cu. ft. (28.3 l) ported enclosure. Detailed enclosure recommendations can be found in the "Specifications" tab.

W7AE (Anniversary Edition) Subwoofers celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the launch of the W7 subwoofers. Functionally, they are identical to the original W7's, but are they distinguished by the following cosmetic differences:

HVT stands for Horizontal Vertical Transforming technology which transforms horizontal movement into vertical movement of a woofer diaphragm to produce true, powerful and wide-range bass.

The TS-WH500A amplified subwoofer system is a truly groundbreaking approach in loudspeaker design. HVT technology uses a unique linkage mechanism, which allows the magnet and voice coil of the dual motor structure to be positioned horizontally to the left and the right side of vertically moving dual speaker diaphragms. Combined, the two diaphragms have an effective surface area equal to a conventional 8" subwoofer and fire in a bipolar arrangement, increasing output while also canceling destructive vibrations within the enclosure. The result of this innovative technology is a subwoofer system with significantly reduced physical depth, while maintaining greater excursion and linearity for superior bass reproduction, natural sound quality and higher output.

The result of this innovative technology is a uniquely compact speaker with the most compact enclosure in the industry that combines woofer surface area equal to most other compact active subwoofer systems with greater maximum excursion for superior performance and sound quality. The HVT subwoofer will fit easily in a wide range of vehicle applications (compact and subcompact vehicles, hybrid vehicles, trucks and SUVs, etc.) without sacrificing performance or sound quality.

Compared to a traditional subwoofer, the TS-WH500A produces less vibration and less noise. The subwoofer offers wider low range frequency reproduction for well-balanced bass from various musical instruments. The voice coil and diaphragm work in symmetry to cancel unnecessary vibrations and reduce noise which instead would travel through the vehicle’s body.
